Pandemic Inequality

Wealthy countries, like the US and UK, are well ahead of poorer nations in distributing COVID-19 vaccinations. If that gap continues, the head of the World Health Organization says it would be “a catastrophic moral failure." And Global economist Dambisa Moyo argues that the gap in vaccine distribution will severely hamper the ability of less wealthy nations to recover from the pandemic economically. Moyo is the author of “Edge of Chaos: Why Democracy is Failing to Deliver Economic Growth and How to Fix It" and a forum speaker at Brigham Young University.
