DMITRY RACHMANOV is currently “on the road.” He’s on a performance tour that includes 15 American Universities, a recital at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, NY and international concerts in Moscow, Russia and Budapest, Hungary. He’s calling it his “Scriabin Odyssey.” In this episode he chatted with host Steven Kapp Perry about historic pianos and Leonardo Da Vinci’s piano-cello hybrid.  DMITRY RACHMANOV is a Steinway Artist and Chair of Keyboard Studies at California State University, Northridge. He’s one of the founders of the Scriabin Society of America. His recent albums are 1) Latin Romance by the Clavierinet Duo and 2) New York Moments with the Tapestry Ensemble.
