Although humans have known for at least 50 years how to make diamonds in a laboratory, scientists at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia have figured out how to make diamonds at room temperature in minutes. Dougal McCulloch, a physics professor at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, explains how it happens.
