As you might know, the pandemic created an artificial, economic recession across the globe. As countries went into lockdown mode, many people lost their jobs, manufacturing shut down, and economies just stopped. While millions were affected by this artificial recession, new studies show that women specifically have born the brunt of pandemic related job changes. Many women lost jobs or left the workplace to care for their children. We wanted to know more about what these studies tell us regarding COVID-19and how it has affected working women.
