And they have a lot of questions for the soccer-ball-shaped droid suddenly floating in front of them. First and foremost, they’ve just been informed they were dead, and now they’re not. Orson Scott Card says a science fiction series about an alien apocalypse is a perfect way to explore big questions about spirituality, identity and human connection.
