“Accidents happen” is a time old phrase passed around from generation to generation, to try and help people through bad situations. True, accidents happen --and often there is no one to really blame for the consequences-- but consequences arise nonetheless. Whether someone is trying to work past an old fear or has to go through months of rehab and physical therapy, there is always more strength in one person’s courage and determination than there is in any problem. Often through these experiences people are able to find hope and faith beyond what they might’ve without the experience. Yes, “accidents happen” and that will always be a hard truth, but often in life it is less about the accident, and more about how you handle and learn from it.
