The Impact of Nurturing Fathers

Fathers play an important role in family life. When a child has a nurturing father, the child is more likely to develop emotional intelligence. This is important for their development and for our society as a whole. Today, we have invited Kevin Shafer to join our conversation. Kevin is an associate professor in the department of sociology at Brigham Young University and his research primarily focuses on father involvement with children and the effects that this has on their wellbeing.
