Japanese-American Incarceration During WWII

It's almost been 80 years since Japan planes bombed US Naval ships in Pearl Harbor. After the attack, more than 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry were imprisoned, right here in America, for fear they posed a threat to the nation. Most of the prisoners were US citizens. Author and attorney Susan Kamei captured the voices of some of the people who lived in those camps, including her parents. Kamei's comprehensive new book is “When Can We Go Back to America? Voices of Japanese American Incarceration during WWII.”
