What should our first steps be when we find out that our teenager is using drugs? It's hard to process, especially if you try to handle it alone. Once teens are addicted, they’ll need proper help and care, which is something that parents aren’t equipped to do on their own. So how can we find and access the type of care that our teenagers need, and what can we do as parents to be there for and support our children? Here to answer our questions this morning is Pat Aussem. She works with the Partnership to End Addiction and also works to develop services and resources for families who are working together to overcome addiction.
