Stories often come from a time before our own, offering us both a window into the past and a font of inspiration in the present. This is especially the case with books, which can often survive hundreds, even thousands of years beyond the author. Today, we’ll be listening to a few stories inspired by famous literature, from the novels of Victorian England to the Jewish texts of the Warsaw ghetto. You’ll hear from Anne Rutherford, Robin Schulte, and Susan Stone, but you’ll also hear from the authors of old that inspired them: Oscar Wilde, John Keats, Jane Austen, and Rabbi Shapira. Join the Apple Seed team as we listen to storytellers across time!
