Did you know that on a 78-degree day, the temperature inside a parked car can soar to 100 degrees in just minutes? Summer is just getting started and while it’s fun to take our loveable pets with us when we go out, we need to remember to never leave our animals locked in our cars. Rachel Bellis is the manager of local affairs for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. She’s with us this morning to tell us the dangers of leaving our pets in our cars and what to do when we see this.
