Women’s basketball, once labeled unladylike and detrimental to female health, was taken to new heights by the OPC Cardinals. Coached by Sam Babb, they pulled off an incredible three-year, 89-game winning streak and went on to win two Amateur Athletic Union national titles, the North American championship, and the 1933 Women’s World Championship.
