For decades, kids have been learning along with Big Bird, Elmo, Grover, Oscar the Grouch, Cookie Monster, and Count Dracula. As the science of child development progressed over the last 50 years, Sesame Street has evolved in subtle ways to stay in touch with preschoolers and their parents. Lucille Burbank worked on Sesame Street’s research team for a decade and wrote about a book called “The Inside Secrets of Sesame Street."
