Disease ToleranceTop of Mind with Julie Rose • Season 1, Episode 1558, Segment 4
Mar 19, 2021 • 18m
Two people who both have COVID-19 can have drastically different symptoms. That difference may be caused by “disease tolerance," which is different than immunity, and it’s a pretty new idea when it comes to humans and disease. Irah King studies it–he’s a professor of immunology at McGill University. (Originally aired Sep 9, 2020)
