The Word the Devil Made Up

Here on The Apple Seed, we love and appreciate all kinds of stories! So in today’s episode, we’ll bring you all sorts of stories -everything from the fun adventures of talking animals to nostalgic songs about precious memories. First up is the story, “Turtle Makes War on Man” by Joseph Bruchac where Turtle gets tired of men always hunting animals and decides it’s time for the animals to take action. After that, we’ll hear “The Bully Goat Grim” a uniquely funny fractured fairy tale by Willy Claflin and Maynard Moose, followed by a conversation with a friend. Next, we’ll hear “The Word the Devil Made Up” by Diane Ferlatte about how a slang term came to be because the Devil was short of help and tried to steal some angels from Heaven.
