Josh Wright has quite the impressive list of piano accolades. Gold medalist in the 2010 Seattle International Piano competition, 1st prize winner of the 2010 American Protégé International Competition of Romantic Music, completer of a Master’s degree in Music at the University of Utah, and connoisseur of exploding pianos.  Well-known for a YouTube video in which he colorfully destroys a piano while effortlessly playing Chopin’s Etude in C# minor Opus 10 No. 4, Josh visited our studio to play a couple other Chopin selections, as well as a few hymns of his own arranging. He didn’t destroy our piano, though!  In this episode host Scott Eckern chats with Josh about internet fame, overcoming stage fright, and handy-manning new houses.  Repertoire: CHOPIN Ballade No. 1; Nocturne No.  8 Op. 27/2; Etude Op 25. No. 11, Winter Wind; HYMN All Creatures of Our God and King/How Great Thou Art (arr. Josh Wright)  Follow Highway 89 on twitter @byuH89
