What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever experienced? The dark? A creepy person? A car crash? A bear? Hopefully none of you have ever been close to death, but it can be eye opening to be scared. Life is fragile, and it’s important. We all seek to take care of ourselves and our loved ones in order to take advantage of the life we have been given. Today we have a story about a bear attack, where lives were saved. We also have a song from David Holt and the Lightning Bolts, along with a story from Diane Edgecomb about a girl who wanted nothing more than to be a dinosaur. As always, we hope these stories will spark discussions and sharing within your families and social circles. On today’s episode, enjoy the following: “Buddy and the Bear” by Glenda Bonin from Family Gazette (2:55) Radio Family Journal: "Chuters" by Sam Payne (17:16) The Daily Mix: "I'd Be So Happy" with Don Shelline (23:58) “Pattysaurus” by Diane Edgecomb from Pattysaurus and Other Tales (32:44)
