If the frontman is a Brit, but the other musicians are Americans, can the whole band be classified as a British band?  Why do English accents seem to disappear when singers rock out? Steven Kapp Perry gets answers to these and other burning questions with the men of THE LOVECAPADES.  The Lovecapades have shared stages with Hoobastank, Hellogoodbye, Neon Trees, He Is We, The Rocket Summer, Anarbor, Fictionist and the American punk pop band The Ataris. They’ve gone on three tours in Southern California (including a show at San Diego’s Hard Rock Cafe), toured the western United States and even headed back “across the pond” for a UK tour. In the last 3 years they’ve released two full-length albums: 1. For the Benefit of Those With Flash Photography and 2. Kaleidoscope. They’ve also got another album (actually a double album) in the works that they’ll chat about.   Rio Connelly of Salt Lake’s Underground Magazine: “The Lovecapades, were up first, and judging by the size of the crowd, these guys have quite a local following. The music was solid…Backed up by some electric hooks from a second guitar and a really solid rhythm section, this band could have you singing along in no time... The songs were tight and the command of the audience and the material were great.”  Follow Highway 89 on twitter @byuH89
