Sarah Sample is the product of a musical family with a large vinyl collection. Growing up she heard everything from Bonnie Raitt to classical. She started on the piano as a kid but left it after her Mom gave her an old guitar in sixth grade.  Now she’s three albums, an EP, and many more songs into her career. She’s crisscrossed the United States countless times singing everywhere from Nashville to Santa Fe and amphitheaters to house concerts (not to mention mountain tops and busy sidewalks) and with Darrell Scott, Melissa Ferrick, Willy Porter, Peter Himmelman and Mark Stuart and Stacey Earle.  Steven Kapp Perry plays "5 Truths and a Lie" with Sarah and chats with her about her one-eyed guinea pig, her annual trip to the Rocky Mountain Song School, the film side of her latest record and the stories behind her songs.
