The UMass Minutemen have had a rough year so far, but did you know they are one of the oldest teams in Division 1 FBS College Football? Matt Vautour of masslive.com stops by the Cougar Tail Gate today to tell us about the team he's covered for 20 years, from their FCS Championship years to their recent struggles in Independence. BYU is traveling from Provo to Amherst today which is quite the plane ride especially considering flights to Tampa, Toledo, and Tennessee earlier this year.
