A pianist with "discipline and poetry at his fingertips" \[Bachtrack], Chi Ho Han most recently completed and ranked in the 2016 Queen Elizabeth International Music Competition in Brussels, but has won awards and competitions all over the world, all throughout his career. He's currently a postgraduate student at the University for Music, Theater and Media in Hannover Germany. Tonight Chi Ho plays beautiful music, some of which from his brand new album "Chopin and Schumann: Piano Works", and chats with Steve about festivals, practicing, and the toy pianos of childhood. Special thanks to the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition and Joanne Rowland for helping arrange this performance. Repertoire: SCHUMANN-LISZT Widmung; CHOPIN Prelude op.24 no.15; SCHUMANN kreisleriana op.16 no.2;
