Born in the Southern Appalachian mountains, Donald "didn't learn stories, \[he] absorbed them." Learning fairy tales, folk tales, and family tales from a long line of traditional storytllers who have lived on the same Western North Carolina land since 1781, Donald is a rockstar in the storytelling world.
