The rise in social media and internet popularity has been followed by a rise in cultural and global awareness. Peoples who historically were marginalized have been able to band together and share their story on a public stage. From posts to videos, social media has created a diverse network of thoughts, ideas, and experiences. But, just because it’s out there doesn’t mean it has been received readily. Many minority groups and cultures are still fighting to make their story heard. So, what can we do to create a cyber culture of inclusion? How can we help our kids be more inclusive online? Here with us today is Richard Culatta, CEO of the International Society for Technology in Education and the author of the book “Digital For Good: Raising Kidsto Thrive in an Online World” back on the show to help us better understand online inclusion and how we can better foster it.
