One young Tennessee lawmaker cast the deciding vote to ratify the 19th Amendment and give women the vote nationwide. Harry Burn had been leaning against voting for the amendment, but then, at the last minute, he got a letter from his mother and changed his mind. Harry Burn's great grand-nephew, Tyler Boyd, shares the story in his book “Tennessee Statesman Harry T.
