Bugs Are Great—Especially Beetles Guest: Shawn Clark, PhD, Research Professor of Biology and Entomology, BYU, Insect Collections Manager, Monte L. Bean Museum As kids, we’re fascinated with bugs. We inspect them in the yard, bring them inside, and aren’t afraid to play with them. Then at some point, for some reason, we learn to fear them and become more preoccupied with squashing them than studying them. Shawn Clark, however, is someone who never did learn to hate bugs.    History and Future of LDS Church and the Boy Scouts of America Guest: Brad Harris, MPA, Teaching Professor, Recreation Management, BYU About one in five Boy Scouts is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In May, the LDS Church announced that it will end its participation in the Boy Scout Varsity teams and Venturing crews, effective January 2018.
