USA Today reported a new Gallup survey that found in Gen Z alone, one in six individuals identify as LGBTQ+. As our society evolves to be more loving towards and understanding of LGBTQ+ individuals, many parents still struggle to know how to respond when their child comes out to them. Are you ready to have a conversation with your children about their sexuality? What should you do, or not do, if your child comes out to you? Dr. Ben Schilaty is a professor and administrator at BYU and the co-host to the famous podcast “Questions from the Closet”. He’s joining us today to talk about how parents can have a safe and constructive conversation when their kids come out to them.
