From the Vaults: That's A Wrap on a Career in the BYU Film ArchivesSep 6, 201726mGuest: James D’Arc, Former Curator, Special Collections, Brigham Young University Harold B. Lee Library
For our regular series “From the Vaults,” where we dive into the treasures held in Special Collections at the BYU Library, we have a special treat today. BYU has one of the world’s premiere collections of film artifacts, thanks to archivist James D’Arc, who has spent the last 41 years acquiring Hollywood history. The collection he’s amassed while working in BYU’s Special Collection is mindboggling. And last week, on his final day at BYU before retiring, James D’Arc gave us a private tour of the vault, in the basement of the BYU library.
