Jacob Hofer is a founding member of the Rosco String Quartet: an award-winning ensemble that's performed at Utah Symphony's Deer Valley Music Festival and participated in the Julliard String Quartet Seminar in New York City. He's adjunct faculty at Utah Valley University, as well as an instructor at Salt Lake's Gifted Music School. Currently pursuing a doctorate at the Univeristy of Utah School of Music, Jacob earned his Bachelor and Master music degrees from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. With him in the studio today is pianist Larry Gee, an accomplished accompanist and one of our longtime recurring Highway 89 guests.
