Survival Test

For over 40 years, 8th-grade students at Schoenbar Middle School in Alaska have taken an unusual kind of end-of-year example, a test of survival. The Coast Guard drops them off on an empty island with a couple of supplies. Schoenbar Middle School science teacher Frankie Urquhart explains the rigorous test her students go through.
