She has worked in costuming as well, and has had tremendous success as an actress in lead roles in over 8 feature films with worldwide distribution including Thirst, Nocturne, and Once I Was a Beehive. Clare Nederpruem has her directorial debut in the adaptation of the classic Little Women, now playing in theaters. As if that weren’t impressive enough, she also wrote the screenplay.
