A key component of a story is conflict. There must be a problem that someone faces, something they want to achieve. And there must be challenges in achieving that thing or solving that problem. Those challenges can come in many forms. A natural disaster, an evil stepmother, a dragon guarding the gold, etc. We love hearing about people that go through hard things because it can help us learn how to face the hard things we face. A lot of stories remind us that in the face of evil, we can join forces with other good people and get through together. We have just such stories to listen to today, from tellers like Norah Dooley, Milbre Burch, Peter J. Parker, and others. On today’s episode, enjoy the following: “In the Face of Evil” by Kate Dudding from People Who Made a Difference Vol. I (12:47) Radio Family Journal: "Mr. Romrell" by Sam Payne (5:00) Daily Mix: “Shadowlands” with Rod Gustafson (6:57) “Ruby Wind” by Peter J.
