Pandemic Domestic Violence

The pandemic caused both the rates and severity of domestic violence incidents to increase across the country. Nonprofits that offer shelter to domestic violence survivors are now facing depleted budgets, burned-out staff, and waves of victims who can finally escape now that pandemic restrictions are lifting.
