Farmers use pesticides to keep their crops growing well above ground, but those same pesticides are degrading the ecosystem below their crops. Environmental scientist Nathan Donley says pesticides are killing the world’s soils. Donley is with the Center for Biological Diversity, which is an environmental advocacy group.
