Emergency Child Mental Health

Even before the additional stresses of the pandemic, emergency rooms were seeing an increase in children showing up during a mental health crisis. And Nationwide Children's Hospital Chief of Emergency Medince Rachel Stanley says many of the hospitals do not have specialized emergency services for children.
