Long before we had Siri to ask about strange historic foods, a food historian named Lynne Olver set out to create the definitive website for food history: foodtimeline.org. Then, Olver died in 2015 and the website languished. But the Special Collections and University Archives department at Virginia Tech will take up the spatula and carry forward the legacy of Olver's works. Kira Dietzwill head up that effort for Virginia Tech.
