The World's Smartest Bird of Prey

When Darwin first encountered caracaras in 1833, he called them “false eagles.” But they're actually brilliant and creative hunters and they dare to venture where other birds won't, like into wasps' nest. They're also tightly bonded with their groups, raising only one chick at a time per flock. But we still have lots of unanswered questions about them.
