Nothing can be more heartbreaking than the stories of wildlife creatures that have been wounded or injured to the point where they can no longer protect themselves. While we see a few of these on Animal Planet or the occasional online article, most we never know about. It could be really easy to turn a blind eye to these creatures struggling in their own habitat if we never come across them in our day-to-day lives. Not for the WildCare Foundation. Today we are talking with Inger Giuffrida, the Executive Director for WildCare Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rehabilitating native wildlife to be able to return them back to their homes in a healthy condition.
