Contrary to popular belief, the peak season for suicide in the United States isn’t in the post-holiday slump, it’s from March to May. National trends along with exasperated feelings brought on by the pandemic means this year is winding up to be a particularly deadly year. However, the signs and support needed for depression are not a one size fits all. So, how are we to tell if we or a loved one are at risk? And what can we do to support those we love?
