The COVID-19 Pandemic has taken a large toll on almost everyone over the past year. One of the reasons that the past year has been rough is because we have been in contact with the same few people. When our only form of human interaction is with a few people you know fairly well it can affect our mental wellbeing. However, studies are starting to show having casual friends can have a various health benefits. Here with us today is Suzanne Degges-White, a counselor, professor and author, to talk about the benefits of having casual friends, how they can be a key to our happiness, and how we can have casual relationships during the pandemic.
