American has always been known as the great Melting Pot of the world. A country famous for its diversity in race, culture, and ideas. This month is a month dedicated to celebrating that diversity and heritage by highlighting and honoring Black history and culture. Here with us today is past president of the World Communication Association and professor and chair of African American and African Diaspora Studies at Indiana University, Dr. Carolyn Calloway-Thomas.
