Tik Tok really blew up this past year, and with it, we’ve been seeing some... interesting new trends. Most recently—sea shanties. That’s right, these swashbuckling tunes have been making a big wave online. One video of Nathan Evans singing “The Wellerman” has even been viewed over fifteen million times! So, sea shanties might not be high up on your playlists right now, but maybe they should be.
