On today's Apple Seed Extra, a song called "Hit Your Mark," by Sam. It's a song written in honor of Charlie Brill and Mitzi McCall, who had the misfortune of performing live on the Ed Sullivan show the same day as the Beatles. Charlie and Mitzi may have been discouraged by their reception by the Ed Sullivan audience, but they liked working together, and so they kept moving forward. And, it must be said, they're still working together, unlike the Beatles.
