Joe Pagliuca was a preschool teacher, and one of his students was named Joe as well. As they got confused when people would call their names, they began to separate the two by calling the student little Joe and the teacher Big Joe. When he began storytelling, he decided to go by the same name, Big Joe. In this story, he tells about a farmer who has a problem. One of his sheep keeps eating his prized peppers. He tries to get the sheep out with the help of all the animals, but none of them can do it. No one, that is, until a small ant volunteers for the job. It's "The Sheep in the Pepper Patch," by Big Joe Pagliuca.
