It’s The Apple Seed! Some time just about every day filled with stories for you and your family. Since 2013 we’ve been bringing you tall tales, personal tales, fairy tales, historical tales and more. All kinds of tales, from all kinds of tellers. And today on the show we’re featuring stories of mischief. Most of us get into a bit of mischief from time to time, and some might argue that’s not always a bad thing. Just as long as nobody gets hurt, right? Perhaps the legendary Actor and Director, Orson Welles, put it best - “I don’t say we ought to all misbehave, but we ought to look as if we could." You’re going to hear stories from Nathalie Vachon, Lynn Ruehlmann, and Donald Davis, as well as an entry in the Radio Family Journal and a conversation with a friend. It’s our hope that today’s stories will spark memories for you that you can share with the people that you love, and that maybe you’ll reflect back on the lessons you’ve learned from some of your more mischievous adventures, or rather misadventures. On today’s episode, enjoy the following: “Mischief and the Moon” by Nathalie Vachon from Magic and Mischief (8:18) RFJ: “Nicole and Michelle Keller” by Sam Payne (5:00) The Daily Mix: “10 Ways to Hear Snow” with Rachel Wadham (7:00) “The Little Rat” by Donald Davis from Party People (19:24) “Carving My Place” by Lynn Ruehlmann from Mischief! Adventures of a Daydreamy Child (6:35)
