Flutist April Clayton and her brother baritone Christopher are lifelong musicians and artists and together with their longtime colleague pianist Jed Moss, they share with us selections for all combinations of their various musical talents.  April Clayton is an Associate Professor of Flute at Brigham Young University and a member of the Orpheus Winds quartet. She was the Director of Chamber Music for seven years at the European American Musical Alliance and she was the featured musician for a cover story in Flute Talk magazine that cited her as a leading flutist of her generation. Her latest CD of flute concertos was released on the Tantara Label and is entitled, Flute Horizons.  Christopher Clayton has performed with the Utah, Portland, and Sacramento Opera companies and enjoys singing a diverse range of roles, from Sharpless in Madama Butterfly and Mr. Gedge in Britten’s Albert Herring. He has bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering and vocal performance from the University of Utah and a Master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music. He was most recently a soloist for Händel’s Messiah and Bernstein’s Mass with the Utah Symphony.  Jed Moss was a member of the Paradigm Trio for six years, and is now the pianist for Utah-Valley-based Sundance Trio.  He has played keyboard for the Music Box Broadway Touring Company of Phantom of the Opera in Utah and South Carolina, and from 1995-2009 he was the keyboardist and backup vocalist for the international touring group Air Supply.  Host: Steven Kapp Perry  Repertoire: CORGLIANO Three Irish Folksong Settings; DAMROSCH Danny Deever; LISZT Pace non trovo; SCHUBERT Der Lindenbaum, Standchen; CIPULLO Keep a Gun in the House;  Follow Highway 89 on twitter @byuh89
