Poetry (0:00:00) Edgar Allan Poe once said, “I would define poetry of words as the rhythmical creation of beauty”. Poetry comes in many forms and conjures many images in different people’s minds. Some feel like poetry may be antiquated and irrelevant. Others look to some of the great classics. But poetry still may be applicable to us today. We have invited Erin Murphy, an author and poet who teaches English and creative writing at Pennsylvania State University to tell us about how poetry can still be relevant today.
