Saturday Round Up: Wiles, Wagers, and Storytelling Origins

Stories and snippets that we've adored from the week of July 9, 2018 to July 13, 2018. From our episode Kitchen Table Talk With Pam Faro and More we wanted to share with you a portion of that conversation (6:47) where Pam explains how she became a storyteller as well as a story from Noa Baum entitled Treasure Under the Bridge(00:40), which is a tale about following your dreams. We also deeply enjoyed Donald Davis' story Going to Grandma's (13:26) that was part of our episode "Bet Your Bottom Dollar" which contained all sorts of stories about the interesting wagers people have made. Our "Wily Women" episode featured fantastical accounts of women finding solutions to odd situations they found themselves in. One of our favorites was Shonaleigh's telling of Princess in a Box (42:43).
