The Electoral College and Donald Trump (17:19) Professor Derek Muller is an Associate Professor of Law at Pepperdine School of Law. His research and writing focuses on election law, particularly federalism and the role of states in the administration of elections. As we head closer to the Republican Convention, the reality of Donald Trump gaining the GOP’s presidential nomination solidifies. Muller proposes a creative solution to the, Never Trump movement. His solution? The Electoral College. Muller talks about the possibility of state legislators appointing presidential electors, rather than following popular vote.
