President-elect Trump has taken some criticism for his cabinet picks. Trump has picked people who don't fit the mold of past cabinet selections. Zachary Taylor, Ulysses S. Grant, Herbert Hoover, and Dwight D. Eisenhower were all elected president without previously holding a political office and made cabinet selections that can be compared with Trump.
