Bryan Merrill - Where are the Bees Going (13:19) Bryan is a master’s student studying Microbiology and Molecular Biology at Brigham Young University, where he also received his bachelors degree. He will graduate this August. Bryan does research with Dr. Sandra Burnett and discovers viruses that infect Paenibacillus larvae, the bacteria that causes American Foulbrood disease in honeybees. Bryan talks today about the challenges facing bees including stress, pesticides, other bugs, and temperature change.
